Youd think after year 13 or 14 she'd have learned to stay bedded until dark falls [:-]. If the information is correct, that is simply awesome.

Good thing about her is you wouldnt have to make jerky as its already made, tough tough tough.

That is pretty amazing actually. I'd have to say thats a one in a million harvest right there, most deer don't live to 1/3 her age in the wild. Heck I bet most deer don't live to 2/3 her age in a pen!

wow about 4 or 5 yrs ago I shot a 6 1/2 yr old doe here in Pennsylvania and I thought that was amazing considering how many of the " if its brown its Down" Amish lived in the area. But WOW 17yrs!!!
