First buck of the year

I killed this guy Sunday morning about 7am. He is not quite what I thought he was when I touched the trigger, but not a bad buck. It was a 32 yard shot, nice double lung shot, he went 35 yards and piled up. He taped out at 122 and some change. BTW, this is my first year shooting Rage BHs, so far I have shot him and a doe a week earlier. All I can say is WOW!!!!!

It was a complete blow thru. 417 grain Goldtip Pro Hunter, Hoyt Katera XL (29 1/2 DL @ 72lbs DW) producing 83 foot lbs of KE. Those shoulder blades did not stand a chance.

wow im surprised me and rory and one of our friends all had our arrows stick none of ours passed thru with rage
