how old is this deer

i'm new to trying to age deer. Here is a pic from last year of an 8 point. Just got a pic this year of same deer. How old to ya'll think deer is? and this is first year i've had camera out and i don't see a whole lot of growth in this deers antlers. Is this normal?

3.5 Just a guess from me too though.

Hard to tell. In the 3rd pic I thought 3.5 right away. But in the last pic he looks a tad younger.

I'dsay 2.5. Could very well be 3.5 though as he has a full body. It depends on the area,cause in some areas the deer get bigger faster depending on the genetics/food sources. He's got a big chest, but his belly still tucks up a bit as you can see better in the 3rd pic.
