Default Shot a doe! But having bad luck this year!

Well I finally got a shot at a doe with the bow on Wednesday. Thought I had a great shot 1/4 away about 18-20 yards. Upon tracking we found the arrow, only 2-3 inches of penetration, hit her a little too far forward. [:@]. Very little blood. Tracked her for about2 hours before we found no blood at all. Called it bad shot placement. Friday Morning during our gunherd reduction hunt, had a big doe clipping across a marsh on some public hunting land that I hunt and hit her low in the leg, had great blood for about 350 yards across the marsh untill I got to private land and found some bone and the blood stopped. Another bad shot!!!! [:@]. This isnt like me to shoot this bad, making depressed, thought about hanging it all up this year.
