Just wonderingwhere you guys get your wind forcasts other than sticking your head out the door. These guys have been killing me with wind direction and velocity predictions that are WAY off.

Nothing worse than getting to a stand and the wind not what you had hoped for!!

hey bud, i guess i should have given you my rational instead of just throwing a website at you. National Weather Service is what is trusted by the majority of meteorologists and atmospheric scientists merely because it does not rely on funding to remain in business. Simply, a lot of sites need money, which means they need visitors and to do this there has to be an entrainment side to their sites as well as their news. For example, a lot of time places like weather.com tend to exaggerate their weather a tad because saying one should expect 3 inches of snow instead of 1 inch attracts more visitors and thus gets them more money
