Default Scrape Question?

I have a comuntity scrape that looks like it is being used by evey deer this side of the mississippi and i was wondering when the best time to hunt it is. or are the comuntity scrapes even worth hunting. i would put a trail cam on it but i would probably run into a theft issue since it is right off the road. thanks

ks--I would harbor to say the best time to hunt it would be the pre-rut, when bucks are constantly scent checking to see if does are in estrus...what better place to check on the does availability than a community scrape/doe crossing area? Just my thoughts. Good luck.

If you have a community scrape hunt it NOW!! I've only seen a couple of community scrapes butboy does a handfull of deer tear it up big.

Those guys areon a mission and you should be there.

Good thread ksfowler. I found one of these also and set up a cam. I have noticed all the good bucks come to it in the middle of the night. BUT I am getting pics all throughout the day. If I posted up all the pics, it would take up to many pages, so I would recommend sitting by that scrape now.
