YUP, another one falls to the trusty old Darton. LOL My buddy here retired a couple years ago. I could never get him into bowhunting. When I moved up here I had Len shorten the draw length on my Darton to fit Chuck. Put on new modules to lower the poundage too. This summer I had a couple practice session and showed him how to shoot. He picked it up quickly and was good out to 30 yards. He's in the process of moving down near Ithaca, NY. He sold his house in Watertown and is building new. In the mean time most everything he owns is in one of the two storage units he bought or their apartment or garage. I had to carry him some camo this week as he couldn't locate his. So I give him a bow, a half dozen Thunderheads, some arrows, release, quiver, the works and top it off with clothes. He goes out this morning, first day of NY's Southern Tier. 30 minutes later this buck walks by and collects an arrow from the Darton. He says bow hunting is made out to be a lot harder than it is. LOL Well anyway, he's a bowhunter for 30 minutes and scores. He has a private little haunt that has deer all over it. We walked right up on a couple when I was down playing golf this week. Anyway, Darton 1, Deer Zero.
