Default Illinois hunting laws question

Hey I had a question for anybody who might know the hunting laws. I was wondering "Cmere Deer" was legal to use during bow season or if because of my states messed up game laws it was illegal baiting...

No it's not legal at any time in IL. It is illegal to feed deer in IL period.

I was curious about it and what my states laws say. thank you for your help. as for why I would want to use it in illinois as i said, I was curious... I am a fair chase hunter but i wanted to know if it was considered baiting. and now I know. I can see that this thread has achieved a rather negitive response.

Hunting Deer Over Salt or Bait
It is unlawful to take deer by using salt or other kind of bait. NOTE: An area is considered as baited during the presence of and for 10 consecutive days following the removal of bait.

You can bait deer, but then remove the food 10 days before you hunt the area.

You better read the regs. a little closer. Read pages 11 and 14 of this document.
