We could have and I have to give props to Ben. See maybe I shouldn't say something but it shows how we mature as bowhunters etc... There is NOTHING wrong with taking any buck a man wants to take be it first or last he's ever taken but Ben's never shot a buck with his bow and when one presents itself and passes unharmed it shows a level in ones hunt. I gave kudos to Ben in the tree.
I give him credit for sticking to his guns, Kudos. But.......... what was the range on those deer?
How'd ya not attempt a shot at that last monster? (jk)
Again, Ben.....I think it's commendable you're sticking to your guns. I also think (because I, too, "passed" on several bucks before taking one) it's not a bad idea to put something on the ground. I say this, "in general"....because I have no idea of your experience level. Kinda "in general" to the masses.
With no bow buck under a man's belt.....that first one would have tempted plenty.
Cool video, guys. Ben, you're the man. You're gonna lay one down of your choosing this year, I bet. Just keep at it. You're putting the effort in, so it will come.
Ben, didnt know you were a south paw That aint Right [&:]Rob nice work on the cam
Thanks brother and Ben didn't start out that way. Last winter when he started shooting indoor 3D with us he was a right hander. He kept mentioning his eye dominance and I told him, any coach worth his salt would have him shooting left handed. He took those words to heart, ordered a left handed bow and I've never seen him shoot better. He's come a long, long way.
