Default Here is one way

To get a young one out there bowhunting when they aren't able to pull the poundage needed to take a deer effectively.

He did get some decent footage of 2 young deer that I didn't want to shoot but it was too dark to show up on the computer. You can barely see them on the TV.

We could have easily had a kill, how much he would have caught is definately in question.

We literally had to run 2 SMALL fawns off before we left the stand. He videod them walking quite well but it was just too dark.

I literally had them at 10 yards or less for 15 minutes. It was definately a great learning experiense for him.

2 weeks later,he took a big mature doe with his Rossi .308 at 75 yards. We will have some summer sausage by this weekend hopefully.

Thats a great idea to get the little man out and excited about hunting! My nephew is 4 and loves to go out in the duck boat. Gotta get the little guys/girls involved, cause they are the future of the sport!
