Whitetail Pedestal Mount Ideas?

Im doing a pedestal mount on my buck from North Dakota this year and want to do something unique. A guy i know got his buck from last year mounted like this and i really like how it turned out. What do you guys think? Anyone else have any unique pedestal mounts?

Here's my dad's from last year
He just got this back not too long ago. He still plans on adding some cattails around the base of the mount and maybe wiring some kind of light to shine up from underneath.
A guy that works for us made the oak base.

not to highjack the thread but does anyone have any idea how much something like that runs for price on the 2 fighting, i have 2 europeans i did back in 04 of 2 mid 140 class bucks id like to have done either in a fighting display or have one semi sneak and the other acting like its licking a brand over a scrape
