Default At what point do you attach your harness to the tree?

More stand talk...sorry

Seems like a hot topic, and I have always wondered when others attach their harnesses to the tree.

I have read that most falls occur getting into or out of the stand.

In my climber, it's attached all the way up/down. When I'm using a fixed stand, I attach once both feet on platform. I just maintain the "three points of contact" rule while climbing the tree steps in the case of the latter.
