RE: was going to go bow hunting but...
Something he needs to look at real close is if he is active duty. He can get VA disability Even though it did not happen as a result of something to do with the military itself. Your talking 2600 a month plus medical insurance. Plus his kids and wife could get around 900 a month to go to collage cash money. It is one reason i am going to go to ivy tech. Get paid to go to school.
My dad just went through the va system due to a injury in the navy. Let me know if you need some info

i got a call from my aunt...she was on her way to hospital to see my uncle. he was cutting 4x4's for a horse trailer. the lumber was too big to fit under the guard so he lifted it up to continue cutting. his hand slipped and his right hand hit the blade. the pinky was completely gone and his ring finger they were able to save. i got the hospital at about 2:00 and just got home. they tried all they could and they are not sure if the other finger will make it either they have to keep him at the hospital for a couple of days. he has been in the air force since he was 18 he is now 40 years old. so hopefully he can keep his other finger. i will be bow hunting tomorrow if there is nothing to report about my uncle. hopefully there is nothing, but you never know with these things.
EDIT: with him being an amputee he is not sure if he will be discharged from military or not i hope he doesn't he loves his job.
