Just another beautiful NC evening

First time sitting in this spot....and it turned out to be a great sit. No deer down.....but I had a wonderful time, anyway.

Around 6:00....I had about 10 turkeys come in and mill about the field I was sitting over. Here they were at 20yds. No fall/winter season, here, so no turkey down.

Around 6:15 I had a doe and two fawns come in. I couldn't get my small digital to focus on them.....but they put on quite the show (the fawns). They ran around like little kids for 5-10 minutes jumping, play fighting, falling down, etc... VERY cute to watch!

Anyways.....here's a few more shots of my set.....and the Carolina skyline.

Not passing all does, Aaron....and this one never made me make a decision. She never came into range......but with the Red Sox on, tonight.....I'm guessing she woulda got a free pass (OK...I wouldn't have shot AT her

).

I've passed more does this year than I thought I would, though. I must be gettin' soft in my old age.
