video cameras?

My brother has a nice digital video camera and Im looking to start filming more. What kind of cameras do you guys use?

Our hunt club has 5Sonyhandycams. We want everyone to try to get video of the big one. That is if they can't shoot him

I also have a sony handycam, its an older modle and im sure the newer ones have better video quality and more features. I had a JVC GRD50 before the handycam and it was great untill i broke the usb port, now i just have a sweet camera that i cant take the video off of.
