Default Great night!

I got out yesterday about 4:30 and as soon as i got in my stand there was three does in the half corn and half biologic field i was hunting on. From then on i saw deer all night. I saw in total 16 doesand fawnsand three small bucks. I passed on all the bucks and on many does. I was just wondering where that big boy was. I just know he never showed up but still had best night of the year so far. Just was really excited to see deer starting to move. I think i will put my sister there this weekend for the youth hunt and hopefully she can take a doe or her second buck in her young hunting career.

Maybe he's still nocturnal...if the does stick around he'll be there come the rut. That's great you're taking your sister. It's always great sharing the experience with family. I took my older brother dove hunting last year for his first hunting experience ever...he loved it and wants to try deer hunting once he graduates from college this December. It's weird because I've always looked up to him and took his advice, now we've switched roles when it comes to hunting.
