Good stuff man. It's an awesome feeling when it all comes together after hours and hours of hard work.

Also- how did you manage to get that many big bucks in New Jersey? I've heard of some big bucks taken up there but it seems like you have a great chance to harvest some nice bucks reading the above post and many of your posts throughout the summer.

You will find out this happens every year. When the corn Is In, everything else Is In there too. It will get better.

Same results here DropTine, but the corn is still standing!!! I can't wait till it gets cut, should be pretty soon over here also, within the next two weeks. Good Luck at getting one of those boys in range!!

I got tired of waiting on the neighbor to get his corn out, so I just burned down his field. Deer flying everywhere!!! AND I saved him the price of diesel to harvest his crops! He'll get a fat check from his insurance company so no loss for him either. (JUST KIDDING!!!)

Actually, he told me that as soon as we have a week without rain, he will be harvesting. Bad news is they are predicting 80% chance of rain again tomorrow.[:@]

Rock....There are big bucks everywhere in NJ. Yes, habitat is dwindeling as the building/developing gets worse and worse...

The genetics here in NJ are outstanding(as per a biologists study). We just try to do everything that we can to make our property better than the next guys. Aside from a 2.5yo I shot last year, no one has shot anything under 3.5yo on this parcel(not cou nting trespasser/poachers) in a few years.

Yea Shultzy, we didnt have this much corn last year....the crop layout was drastically different. This year its kind of better for us in regards to hunting. I hope I get a shot at one of these pigs. They are out there cutting the last bit of corn today.
Perfect example that herd and buck management can work anywhere! Good luck with those bigguns!
