How soon to hunt!!!!Help!!

Okay i missed a dandy 8pt last night 4 times and on my 4th shot he seen me and ran away.Im not gonna go into detail about it because i want to puke everytime i start to talk about it.Come to find out my peep site hate moved up my string just a little bit causing me to miss him.Every shot i took was clean over his back at 30 yds.Anyway,How soon should i hunt this stand?I was gonna go to it this evning again.What do you guys think?I know he wasn't real sure of what i was,but it was enough to cause him to run away with his tail up,but he didn't snort.Help!!!

Okay, I will add. Wait until gun season and go back....LOL

Just kidding. I would give it a week or so, and get that bow fixed...

I've been shooting all day and it was my peep.If I put my pin in the top of the peep it shoots fine,but if i put it in the middle where it usually goes,It shoots high.
