Default Trying some new tactics this year

1. I am not hunting morning stands until 3rd week in October

2. Not going to shoot a doe until after gun season

3. I have scent traps I have been keeping scent in since March.

Will keep you guys posted on how they workout

I have read the mature deer thatI am after are already bedded down, going out in the mornings may spook them.

I have tried to "beat" them to the spot and go out real early. Once the pre-rutt hits I will be in my stands.
