Default On a Side note.....

So how about a guy who lives about half a mile from me, last night had his truck loaded with his bow and all his clothes, robbed. He said he woke up this morning grabbed a cup of coffee threw some junky clothes on went out side and there was his truck mangled. They pulled the top of the door down until the window broke (maybe not intentional) and then unlocked the door and took everything that was in there including tools his bow and clothes.

Tell me that wasnt a rough way to start out the season.

Ryan.

He did set himself up a bit, but it still does NOT make it right. If it was in his garage fine, but loading up your truck the night before in front of all the neighbors is asking for trouble IMO. Sad world we live in[:'(][>:]

Ohh I forgot to mention my friend Chris had his climber stolen between when he hung it thrusday night and this morning at 4:50. now he's the proud owner of a cut chain and a cut cable lock. All I said was, well, you live in PA what do you expect?? Honesty?? (ohh and it was private land that only 3 people him included have permission to hunt. And none of the 2 have it.)

Anyone else have any opening day horror storys?

Ryan.

Amen to that, It was parked in his driveway, like prolly 15 foot from his bedroom window. Crazy aint it. His dog never barked or made a noise and he never heard a thing, not even the window breaking.

That's flat out terrible. I've had stands stolen that were out on my property but stealing something out of a man's driveway is just so low. Make sure to check all the local pawn shops, I found some of my tools that were stolen out of my shed like that once. The shop owner still made me pay for mine, but he may give a discount on something that was stolen.

Still a sad, sad, day.
