Default new toy for hunting

i was using my dad camera when hunting. He sold it to my sister and bought a new canon camera cost 700 bucks it is like a professional camera. He said he would let me use it but i did not want to carry a 700 dollar camera in the woods when it is not even mine. So i bought a digital camcorder. cost me 200 bucks i did not really have but ohh well.

Now i can completely tape my hunts. can not wait.Tomorrow will be my first hunt with it and out of my pop up blind i hope to get some video of me dropping a deer.

i hope so to guys got to say i am glad i will be able to film it tomorrow i will be on the ground so will make for a good time to try it out. Hopefully i will drop one. But unlike the pros if one walkes by before it is light enough to film i will drop the deer guest then you guys will have to deal with a pic. Do not worry if i shoot one i will not post without pics. If i do i will allow everyone to sack punch me.

I dug up my old canon z45 camcorder, After turning it on I am convinced there is no way to turn it on without too much noise. I can hear the tape or gear in it turn. I really wanted to try this as well. How do you guys all deal with the cam noise when turning it on?

If only gagets would equal deer in range. They are fun though.

I need toget some thing like that. A topo program I bought that contains way points, routes, tracks andany infofrom my gpsalong withany I create that can be expoted to a gps has the ability to put pictures with the map. I'd love to create a hole documentary of places I hunt. Load a map, click on one of the way points and all the recorded info of that stand site would pop up. It'd be great. As long as I can figure out how to put the camera and computer together without smashing something that is.
