Default Early, All or Rut Season Bowhunting???

To start out, I figured I have never posted a poll so why not??

Some conversation at work today(also MI opener) led me to wonder...how many of you are Die hard BOW hunters that like to hunt ALL bowseason, or do you like early and rut (my feelings, allows me to chase ducks some too...) or just early or just rut only???

The reason I put Bow in Caps is some states have funny season dates and dont get the full variety....

Bow season is only 3 1/2 months! With a 9 day break in Nov. for rifle. I'm gonna take advantage of every day possible.

I'm a die hard bow hunter during the rut, It's my favorite time to be In the woods. I've went out once since the season opened on September 13th here In Minnesota. I do plan on hunting more In the early season come next year to try and catch the bigger bucks In there summer patterns, I think It's very doable. I was going to do this starting this year, my job and other things kinda got In the way once again.[>:]

Depending on how the calendar hits, our season length that we are allowed to hunt with bows is 90-95 days.

If all goes well, I will get to hunt about 30 of those days scattered from start to finish.

The only other hunting beside bowhunting I do anymore is a little quail hunting, but that season goes until the end of February, so I don't pick up a shotgun until after deer season is completed.

I bowhunt all year long...but December/January really slows down for me....thats when I start duck hunting, predator calling, chasing coon hounds, etc. I enjoy nearly all types of hunting, the real late season allows me to enjoy them without disturbing my bowseason. That said, ill hunt atleast a few sits every month...the closer to early november, the more frequent my sits are.

I'm guessing I'll hit close to 90 or maybe even 100 sits this season.
