If i make a good shot???

i am finally going out hunting this sunday, and i was wondering if i make a good shot on a deer or hog on average, how far do you think the animal will go, by good shot i mean double lung.

True double lunged deer seldom make it 100 yards.
A straight heart shot can actually run a bit furtehr as the animal looses blood pressure.
