Default Are acorns done with?

in Wisconsin? I was out today and the wind was 15-20mph yet almost none were dropping. This would spell a travel pattern change back to the agricultural crops correct? I didn't see any white oak acornson the forest floor either. I think it may be time to switch back to trails to/from bed/fields instead of concentrating on the mast?

I was in a white oak today too. None were dropping but it was loaded with green ones that haven't dropped yet. I'm looking for this stand to get hot in a week or so.

Well see, another thing that prompted me to ask this is because last week the reds and whites were dropping like mad. Today, neither were even one one hundredth what it was last week. Also, I can't tell if the trees still have acorns in them or not. My eyes aren't what they used to be.
