I know someone on here has taken a shot at that pesky red squirrel or chipmunk that won't shut-up.

As Arsenio would sayshow me the digits!

Heh, 2x years ago at Dan's place I had a gray that was in season, sitting at 10 yards just screaming at me. After half an hour of this, I decided if he was dumb enough to sit there and let me grab the bow and draw on him, he was getting a GoldTip to the dome.

I gotta say the rest of the evening was quite peaceful. [8D]

Many times!!!! I used to carry a .22LR revolver with me when hunting areas known to have wild dogs that were a little nasty, and several times I busted squirrels when the deer hunting wasn't going my way, and the squirrels were taunting me. I've also done it a few times with arrows, including one time when I took the little nut-muncher's tail off, only to have him fall from the tree DEAD as a doornail a few minutes later. Seems a squirrel CAN bleed to death from his tail if it's sharply cut off.

Pegged one to a stump, pretty funny because it took me three shots, then I had to get down and retrieve all my arrows, climbed back up and continued the hunt.

Were i hunt you could shoot more meat by shooting squirrels than by one deer. there seems to be thousands of the anoying things. and Racoons i can not stand listening to them eating corn it drives me crazy.

The first time I hunted with my new bow this past year lol. I sat in aground blind and began hearing chattering that would not shut up. Iturned around to see a squirell sitting on a log 10 yards away.

I was anxious to break in the new bowHe was toast

No way am I wasting a 10 broadhead and a 20 dollar arrow ($30).

The only thing that see's my arrow from the stand when their seasons are open are grouse, ringnecks, coyotes, turkeys or deer.

I used to despise squirrels while bowhunting........that was until I realized that many times they were barking at approaching deer.

Now the ones sitting in the tree across from me at eye level looking me in the eye while they bark for an hr...........I've tried killing them with foul language under my breath but I must not be a very good shot with it.

I have 15 years ago. I carried a small game head in my quiver for that purpose or grouse.
