I haven't received the kill pics of the 6pt yet, but i do have some pics of the antlers(I will add the other photos when i receive them). The other buck isa 5 pt I took last Sunday morning in my other hunting club.
I was sitting in the stand saturday afternoon and i had heard a buck grunting and deer walking all around me, i just couldn't see them yet-that went on for 30+ minutes. Finally, I saw deer piling out near the corn- to my surprise it was 1 spike,6 does, and 2 yearlings- and 30 seconds later the 6pt stepped out behind them. From behind me another spike and 4 pt stepped out into view. The 6 pt ran off all the deer around him and fed on corn alone while all the rest of the deer were scattered around. 5 does were directly in front of me, blocking me from standing up and getting ready. It seemed like forever when (in reality 10 mins) for the does to start back eating corn and get from in front of me. I slowly stood up and as i did me stand creaked a little- 4 does that were 10-12 yds away looked up at me and i froze. They went back to feeding and he stayed perfectly broadside, i put it on him and let it fly. It hit him good, and he kicked and ran off favoring a shoulder. I waited 20 minutes til dark and called my brother and friends who were hunting close to help bloodtrail it. I backed out of there and got them- the deer didn't go 70yds and i hit him perfect through both lungs and part of the facing shoulder.My biggest buck to date with a bow.
