Default Airing clothes out well drying

Every year I wait till the last minute to air out my hunting clothes and it rains. I looked on the weather channel last week and for the next 2 days it said no rain. Figured ok this will work. Nope rained that night and the few days after it.

My question is do you think it would be ok use the air setting on the dryer to dry them out? Today didn't rain but they were still a little damp.

Just bring the clothes inside and hang them up on a line...let them air dry out. I have about 3 different outfits that have been out the last 10 days and it has rained off and on. They should be dry by tomorrow. I washed and air dryed about 75 percent of my clothes a month ago...then stored them in an airtight tub. If you have two more days of no rain....your clothes should dry out and be ok.

Why not just turn on the heat and throw a earth drier sheet in there?

I don't think its a good idea to put them in a dryer. The smell form other cloths and your regular dryer sheets would still be in there. I would just hang them out.

That's what I thought. They all dried yesterday just about. Now I have to activate the carbon liner and I'm good to go.

Isn't that done by putting it in the dryer? [&:]

I put some baking soda in the dryer and run it empty before I put my clothes in to dry. This year I also toss in a Primos XP dryer sheet.

I just put them in the dryer with the dirt smellin dryer sheets. Then spray them down and let air dry. Then the go in the tub until the opener!

I dried hunting clothes in my dryer as well, the had a faint detergent smell to them, so i sprayed the inside of the drum with scent killer, have to say it worked, never thought of using baking soda would it be messy? I like this route cause it keeps the boss happy, however i don't like using up my scent killer on my dryer, I'm also gonna look into the dryer sheets, my local wannabe sporting goods store doesn't carry them

The earth scent dryer sheets are good in a pinch...plus they can double as a scent concealer as you can rub them on your clothes to give you that wonderful earth scent Or you drop them into your boots on the way to your hunting spot and they will help your boots not smell.
