Default Ever feel like you're "Close"?

I can't help it....and I don't mind saying so. I feel like I'm "close" to scoring on a buck.

I'm gonna have some free time (no comments, please[&:]).....and I just feel like the puzzle is starting to make sense.

I may hunt myself ragged, Saturday through next week, but it'll be a REALLY refreshing feeling. 10 day forecast has some favorable winds for the properties I wanna hunt. I'm planning on sitting all day....for the very first time, Saturday. I've done that once....but I went in that time at 8:30...to keep from bumping too many deer on the way in. That was also during the seeking phase......so I guess I have to keep that in mind (I saw over 20 deer, that day....and six were bucks....my most sightings, ever).

Wish me luck.....but I'm feeling something's gonna happen, ......and sooner rather than later.

Do you guys ever feel like everything's falling into place.....and something special's gonna happen, soon?

Jeff, I have felt that way before, as have many people who have taken deer. I really believe you will be succesful in the next week. I felt that way last year at 0400 one morning. I was driving to a hunting spot and a deer actually ran across the road and hit the back of my truck at 50mph! As I came out of my truck and began dressing in the field, I had a good feeling like the day was right and that my set-up/plan to rattle was fantastic.....arrowed a nice 8 pointer 2 hours later as the sun rose...

And for this year I have been telling my wife that I have a feeling about finally getting a mature buck........have never felt that way but all of my hard work/scouting/topo study/and general understanding of the woods just feels more in tune than ever...something big is gonna happen for me this year!
