Default Hey LW sit and climb guys....

This may be old hat to you....but I figured out a trick I didn't know, tonight. I like to stand for a while....sit for a while....but that damned bar is in the way....and it doesn't allow you to get close enough to the tree.

So I flipped it UP, tonight....and used tha little padded strap thingy to attach it to the seat bottom. You can get a lot closer to the tree, that way....and the seat's out of your way....not making noise by brushing against you.

If this is a "duh" moment.....indulge me. Light bulb went off in my head.....even if it's dim....let it shine

Nope. No luck tonight, Aaron. I bumped one going into my spot....and he saw two coons.....lol. That was it.

We're going again, soon, though. He still said he had fun.

Bob....I like to sit a lot, too. Mine will NEVER be used as a shelf. A shelf for my ass, maybe

Jeff, when you flip that bar up and under (out of the way), it should stay up on it's own. With a lot of use though, both sides of the bar will need tightening periodically.

That's the thing, EI. When you flip it under.....you can't get close enough to the tree. "Up"....you can. I didn't know that until tonight.

Either way that bar is flipped, up or down, it's in the same spot. Just lower or higher, but in the same position, and distance from either your butt (up),or the back of your calves (down).Right?

Maybe so....but I can get my feet closer to the tree with it "up"....and in the "up" position....it sorta fits into my mid section, better.

Just try it. I was surprised. You can also use the little padded strap to secure the seat to it....and make it immobile. In the "down" position....it bumps my shins/thighs. "Up"....it's more out of the way. Like I said.....just try it. If it doesn't "work" for you.....just disregard!

Always go with what's most comfortable for you. You know how that goes. I'm just glad to see you're happy with your LW stand, I knew you would see the light.
