Default Lone Wolf Stands worth the $$$??

I was wondering if any of you have used lone wolf tree stands and if you think they are worth the money. In my experience, most of the products that I decided to spend some money on, I have been extremely satisfied with.

Do you think that the $170-$200/stand is worth it??

What are its best advantages??

I was looking at the Lone Wolf's a few months ago and decided not to get one. I was looking at the Assault. I liked it because it was 8.5lbs. I ended up getting the Gorilla Silverback Scout and I'm glad I did. First, it was much cheaper. Second, the seat is thicker. Third, it weighs the same amount. I believe the only difference is that the weight rating is 25lbs less on the Gorilla. Not for sure what models of Lone Wolf your looking at but as far as a hang on I don't think you can beat the Silverback Scout. I did end up getting some Lone Wolf climbing sticks to go with it and those are awesome! Easy to use and lightweight. Beats screw in tree steps any day.

Lone Wolf is in a class of it's own...buy one.

Easy to use, light, and SILENT.

I have a friend that bought a gorilla scout last year and he wishes he bought a LW after it started to make some make noise when using it.

I have a Lone Wolf Alpha hand climber and love it...........the only reason I would be gun shy to buy a Lone Wolf hang on stand is that I would be afraid of someone stealing it. [:-]

save a 100 smackers and buy a summit and a hunter safety system. lone wolf is over priced...imo.
same thing with blinds, why pay 4 to 5 hundred for a doublebull, when you can get an ameristep or other for less than half that. all this is imo only.

I bought an Alpha hang-on a couple of years ago. No other stand I've ever used compares in ease of putting up and silence. There are no squeaks in this thing.

I think they are. Yes they are pricey, but they are great great stands. Combined with a set of sticks and you can hunt just about any tree in the woods quickly and quietly.
