Default Mock scrapes & the bucks that visit (pics)

Every year I make a mock scrape and it always get's action. This was the first year I had ever put a camera over it (1st year for the camera). I also did some else new this year. I didn't have any scent when I made it so I tried the trick that many on here have said over the years. So I took a leak in it and set the camera (figured no one wanted to see working over the scrape ).

About 6 hours after I did so, the action started.

Buck #1

Buck #2

Buck #3

Buck #4

Buck #5

There was also a different buck on the 22nd but the fog was so thick, I couldn't make out which one it was.

Interesting, never thought of making a early mock scrape to hang the camera on

djs, yeah i'd take any of the first 3. Monroeville, I grew up in Lower Burrell. Small world.

Canuck, I needed something to get them to stop in front of the camera as we are not allowed to bait and the season opens soon so I had to pull it out.

Awesome pics. This is the perfect time to start setting mock scrapes. Hard to believe they started hitting it so quickly.
