Default Lure complications

I've been using Tinks for the rut for the past 3 or 4 years, and still came up with no luck. My buddy swears by Trails End #307. Any of yous have luck with that? or any other lures?

I've tried many in the past but don't buy them anymore...waste of $ IMO.

I have used Bowhunters set up and had a good amount of success with it.
I have sprayed it on leaves and had deer stop by and lick it from the leaves.
I'm not saying it works 100% of the time, but it is the only lure I've had any success with.
YMMV

I use zero "scent" attractants. IMO, it's a waste of money. You can fool a buck or two here and there, but it is by-no means "magic pixy dust" that brings them to you.

Consider a whitetail can distinguish scent down to the single parts per million. Do you really think that they can't tell the difference between fresh and bottle urine? I think it's one of the biggest wastes of money in the hunting industry!

I bought some of the Tinks scrape starter this year in a spray bottle and made 3 mocks on the way to my stand opening weekend. two or the three are now twice as big as when I made them with hoof prints all over them. Not saying it is going to get me a buck but it is showing me they are in the area. I don't think those scrapes would have been made yet if I hadn't started them.
