Default Bowhunting clothes with uv, UV Killer Spray??

I've thought about it for a while but finally checked all my camo with a black light.. I was amazed at what I seen in some of my camo. Mostly the cheaper cotton camo, like jean and t shirt type stuff.. But it literally glowed under the light compared to some of my other stuff..

I am willing to spend money on getting rid of uv if it can help my chances bowhunting..

My question is has anyone ever used the Atsko Uv Killer spray? Does it make a difference, it's the only thing I can find that says it will remove uv..

Thanks

I think there is a product called sport wash that is supposed to kill it as well. I've seen the commercials for it but have never tried it or any UV killer for that matter. Good luck and let us know if it works.

Ya I use the sport wash now, it takes care of scent and has no uv brightners.. But they make a treatment called uv killer that goes with it.. Guess I'll buy some and give it a shot.. What the heck...

Stop overthinking it!!!! I've NEVER had a problem (see post on thread in TECH section), and I'vepassed on probably 100 deer a year on average over the last 4 years. And when I say "Passed on," that means they were within 40 yds and in clear bow range!!!!

I checked my clothes under a black light as well, even though I didnt need it, I sprayed down with Atsko UV killer and noticed very little change, I guess its becasue my clothes are always washed with Hunters Specialties wash with UV killer.....[&:]

Atsko UV Killer does work as advertised, a snow camo suit I treated with it no longer glows, nor does a blaze orange cap. I have a camo t-shirt purchased from Bass Pro Shops recently that glowed like neon under my blacklight, I washed it in Sportwash with a bunch of my other camo and the glow disappeared. Excellent products.

A guy over on AT did a very extensive test on UV Killer.
He's actually got to the point where he orders mility camo in rolls and makes his own clothes because almost everything is now treated with the brighteners.
You might want to check out his thread, it's about 15 pages long and has lots of pics.
According to him, and the pics, the UV Killer wont eliminate the glow.
It will "dull" it a little, but won't eliminate it.
Check out his thread.
