Default optical brighteners?

Is there any truth to deer seeing the optical brighteners in clothing? I work with black lights at work, and clothing manufactures do use optical brighteners in there fabric. I just find it hard to believe that the deer see them.

I think deer can see in a grayscale. So I think they would see something just a shade brigther then normal.
