Default how long and what part of the day do you hunt

How long of a day do you hunt and if not all day do you hunt more morning or afternoon.
At what temps rain and wind do you pack it in.
Last year it was hard for me to sit all day between my bad knee back it was just to much. This year i am making it my goal of the year to sit all day at least 70% of my hunts. I figure it it gets around 85 or high which might happen early i will quit. Alittle rain will not stop me but a storm would get me out of the woods. any wind over say a 10 or 15 i would really think about getting out of the stand.

So what are you stopping points.
Also what does the temps wind and rain do to deer movement. Do they stop moving after a set temp or what will some rain do or say a real cloudy day with sprinkles.

Default RE: how long and what part of the day do you hunt

I try to sit all day. But if i can't i will usually choose evenings instead of mornings. If we get rain and its going to stop durring the day, i will make sure i am out after the rain for i see an increase in deer movement right after the rain.. I usually don't hunt in high winds, unless i am stalking, for the deer seem to sit tight due to they can't hear as well and don't like to move much without all their senses working for them..

my .02....
