Default ground hunting

Just wondering how everyone here feels about siting on the ground to bow hunt? Sometimes I try it if I dont have much time in the woods I use great caution with scent products and found a clumb of trees and brush to sit in last evening with only 1.5 hours to hunt I thought that hanging my climber and heading up a tree might due more harm than good since that is when the deer seem to move around here. I think I may be wasting my time out there when I do this or is it possible to shlink one from the ground?

Anything is possible dont forget that. But i think a persons chances are alot better when hunting from a tree. I have arrowed deer from the ground without the aid of a blind, you just have to be careful when you make your draw. Any more though i am in a tree or a blind.
GOOD LUCK

My girlfriend and I have had great luck with this. We are new to Bow hunting, and have been trying to find good early season hunting spots. All we do is find some high grass on the edge of a field and sit in a chair. Last year I shot a coyote that walked 10 feet behind me, then came out into the field. I also had deer within 20 yards daily. But when ever we had the ground blind set up....busted!

If you have adequate cover ground hunting can be as successful as any other method. I'll be doing just that on the 1st when our season opens, my place was logged several years ago and has few trees capable of supporting a climber. There's a couple of waist deep holes out back that show promise as pit blinds since they're behind a small stand of trees and weeds that will provide cover, and a bushy spot along a main trail that's probably what I'll be behind come opening day.
