Default what would you do? (PICS)

I know velvet makes the rack look bigger than what is really is but dang, i didnt think this buck would lose that much mass. could it be because hes such a big bodied deer? so heres the question, shooter buck or not?

In cases where there is uniqueness like that one. Ill sacrifice inches for that anyday. love the looks of that buck. look at the saging belly on him any way...mature no dought.

Absolutely.

As unique as that is, the 'score-in-inches-chest-thumping' would certainly take a backseatfor me.

Decent body also.

I would have to say shooter, and mounter not based on size but oddness, would definitely raise eyebrows.

Cool looking buck! I would only hesitate to shoot long enough to make sure I was using the right pin!

That is a mature buck. Look at his belly hang and how thick his chest and neck are. If you DONT shoot him, he might die of old age.
Not every trophy needs to be measured by how many INCHES it scores.. A great buck can be a great buck just because you've watched him grow for 2 or 3 years, or because he's unique, or because you have spent so much time scouting and preparing and understanding his habits... etc.. Dont think just because he wouldnt score all that great that he shouldnt be a shooter...

That is one unique buck, and if he passed my stand I would take him for sure.. then later in the year where someone starts bragging about how their deer is 25 more inches than yours.. Who cares.. you're buck clearly has tons more uniqueness and character...

I agree with everyone else. Such a unique animal and he's definitely mature. He's going to be an awesome trophy if you get him. Good luck.
