Default Worth Buying???

I have a Mathews Switchback and was looking at buying a string tamer that would screw inthe hole thats on the backside of the stabilizer. A friend of mine has one on his Mathews Drenalin and it seems to silence his bow pretty good. I was just wondering if anyone has had any luck or would suggest buying one. And if so maybe some good brands.

Thanks Kash

Yes they make an incredible difference. There are many good ones commercially available, probably one to fit any bow with, either a stabilizer hole front or back. Check out the STS for one example.

I have seen them on Bass Pro, and Sportsmans Guide. Do they affect the speed of the bow any?

Shawn,
I have the Norway Senior on my Browning Myst. That will also work on your Mirage.

brown boy,
No they will not affect the speed any. If you opt to not use string silencers with it, it will actually increase speed a little bit.
