Just got a text message from Don and yes it's true! He scored an absolute ZERO!!! Said he had a doe at 14 yards and had mercy on her soul. Which means________________. (Fill in the blank).

Haha, you had me going for a second. It's amazing how excited you can get for someone you've never met, when you hear they scored...and in this case...what a let down...jk[8D]

No, he said he "had mercy on her soul". I wanted people here to fill in the blank. Some of my thoughts were:

1. It was such a long shot, he didn't think it was ethical to take it;
2. He was afraid he'd come down with Slickhead's Syndrome;
3. Didn't think his truck could make it through the fence; or
4. He spent too much time thinking about spooning with it and then it was gone.

Haha, I was about to text him tonight when I had a deer come from out of nowhere in a stampede behind me. Lost my train of thought and forgot to.

Depends on where he's hunting and how he feels it would have impacted his spot... but I'm looking to slam about four does as quickly as I can.

Of course, he may be like me where my first couple sits will be over a travel corridor where I've got some pics of a REALLY nice bruiser.

Jeez, what a joykill! I post this up after I get a message from Don to have a little fun, and you come back with serious answers!?! Boy, I hope I'm never classified as a Moderator, I'll have to lose my sense of humor.
