Bowtech has left me a little puzzeled UPDATE POST 7
My 06 Allehance has been down for a month now. Limbs and cams were replaced due to cams rubbing limbs. Wrong cams were put on. It was determined 08 cams were installed instead of 06 throwing everything out of of adjustment. After numorious phone calls between my shop, me and Bowtech it was determined that the wrong cams were installed despit the right ones being sent, at least that's what Bowtech says.I have switched shops BTW because of that. Every time the shop speaks to someone at Bowtech he gets a different answer on specs this bow is supposed to show, ie dots on the cams, A to A lenth, brace height etc. Finally they send another set of cams via ground instead of next day air mind you. The specs Bowtech supplies can't be obtained so I just told them to get an RO number and send the damn thing back to them to fix. I expected better from Bowtech. The shop owner is setting up his 08 Allegance for me to use just to get me in the woods since I have all ready missed the first two weeks of the season, very nice jester on his part. Just a little puzzeled by the answers the guys in the know are supposed to know.
In all honesty, this sounds like more of a shop deal than a Bowtech deal to me.
I work fora chain store and have had hardly any problems between our store and Bowtech's warranty/repair department. A pro shop who deals with a manufacturer in a decent manner generally should have no issues to speak of. Mistakes happen, wrong parts can and do get shipped, but not getting the right specs on a bow sounds like your shop has some issues.

Not so in this case WH. I have been involved in most phone conversatations. The info Bowtech supplied leaves me a little baffeled. The first shop was a shop in Md that everyone here knows of so it's not a shop issue. We will see what the real problem is when I get it back.
Sorry to hear of your troubles. I'm sure the W/R department will get you taken care of when the bow arrives.
Good luck with it.

I made a phone call to Bowtech tech services a few months ago with an 06 Ally tuning issueand I was dissappointed with the information provided. At my insistence, the fella did manage to tell me that there should be 6 dots showing on my 06 Ally cams but he was insistent that he was not obligated to discuss my tuning issue because I had installed WC string/cables vice OEM string/cables.
I would recommend going 'up the flagpole' at Bowtech. PM me if you want to do a joint phoncon, letteror email.
One thing I try and do is talk to the same person. If there's a problem I go higher on the poll not the next person at the counter.
It's to the point anymorewere you have to be the one in the "know" for everything, or suffer at the hands of carelessness.
A friend needs a kidney. His wife was a possible donor. After a week of testing she was disqualified and at the final confab was told why. It was mentioned a sample away from the gruelling testing may prove different to which she said, one had already been sent prior to the tests. The Doctor said "I know it's right here. Would you like me ti figure up the results?" Took himmoments to do it,she failed. A week out of state, a week off work, hopes dashed. They had no idea they needed to ask, "Did you figure the sample sent in?" The man was[:@][:@][:@][:@][:@][:@][:@][:@][:@][:@][:@][:@][:@][:@][:@][:@][:@][:@][:@].
We (dealer and I)talked to Todd at Bowtech. hehandles the dealer end. Problem solved. They don't make 06 cams anymore, instead they are using the08 cams. Since my string length is for an 06 bow no one could get it right. First it was said 6 dots then 4 then back to 6 and a twist here and a twist there.before they realized 08 cams were on the bow. Now why didn't Bowtech know that from the get go. They were the ones that sent them. Anyway if I replace my 06 Gibblet string with an 08 everything will be in spec. What they tell me now isas long as 6 dots appear and I'm within 1/4" in A to Alengthh, and brace height and a pound or two within the max setting it will beOKk.So I will live with it since this $80 string is but half a season old.
Any time I ever need anything from Bowtechs waranty I ALWAYS talk to Todd and no one else. He has always taken care of me ASAP and I have never had any problems. He knows what needs to be done and takes care of it. If the people doing the shippingever forgetsomething, like longer axles for08 vs 05limbshe makes sure it gets over nighted to me and I have it the next day.
