the thermacell thread posted by GMMAT got me to thinking about getting one, but my worries are that if a human can smell it, surely a deer can. especially in a ground blind. i mean, doesn't it kinda defeat the purpose of scent control?

Its not an issue. Bears have an outstanding sense of smell and I use one then too.

Do you wear deoderant, showerand brush your teeth before going hunting? They can smell all that. If you hunt the wind like you should then you wont have a problem.
