What is the best compound beginner bow?

the best thing for you to do is to go out to a local shop and shoot as many as you can within your budget. We can give you recommendations all day, but if you don't like the way it feels in your hand, it doesn't mean anything.

That being said, I would recommend the Parker Side-Kick XP. Assuming you're a youngin', as you get bigger and stronger you can continually get your bow upgraded with new limbs and cam modules for next to nothing from Parker. If you're not a youngin', I'd take a look at the Parker Buck Hunter, Buck Hunter XP, or the Wildfire as my sleeper pick (depending on your budget). I'm partial to Parker because of their customer service. A lot of companies make good quality products, but not all of them have both the product and the service to match it.

+1 Reflex is made by Hoyt, so you get a quality bow for a reasonable price. However, there are other brands similar to reflex too. Just go shoot a bunch of different bows and see what feels good in your hands. I tell you this, they are all capable of killing deer.
