Well yesterday i got my stand up and it was a promising trip in the woods.
I get to the creek where i set it up a few tracks coming up not alot though. My dad said it looks like a good stop i was explaining to him why i picked that spot.
The creek sits right by a real thick area that i think was a crop field since the corner makes a 90 degree angler with a circle like someone turned a tractor planting something.
The there is a small semi clear area then normally woods mainly hardwoods.
Then a path runs across the creek up 5 yards or so in front of the stand. Alittle close but it is either run on it must sit with the wind to my back 90% of the time. which we all know is a bad idea.
Well i looked over to the thicket to point it out to him. There were three small to medium size maybe 8 inchs thick. there about 5 feet apart and rubbed clean.
Then when i left i noticed a few acorns around several trees on back from my stand. There area three weeks left till season opens every other second i think of sitting there and having a trophy buck walk right up by me.
