Default proper bow pounds for bear?

I will be hunting bear on some property i bought this year and have never hunted bear before. I just wanted to know if a bear's body is similar to a deer in the sense that will a 64# bow have any problem getting a pass through. Just dont want to wound it.

64# is fine.

Just make sure you PICK A SPOT. Remember, you're shooting at a black blob. You can really get caught up in just flinging an arrow.

I wish you the best of luck.

My 1st bear I shot I was pulling 40lbs back. Complete pass through. I was using a 2 blade bear broad head. Like Kyle said you'll be plenty fine with that. Bear actually are easier I think to get a pass through on.
