Default Finding the beds?

What is the best way to locate bedding areas?

I like looking at aerial photos/topo mapsto narrow down areas that look to be promising spots for beds. From there the only real good way to find out is to lace up the boots and start snooping around.

Look for tall grasses where the deer have a good 360 degree point of view to feel safe. I cut half of the grass on my deer property and leave the other half of the field to grow all summer. They have 3 different bedding areas in the tall grass, all with escape routes that lead to their trails and the thick stuff
