climbers may be your best option bro.

I luckily havent had anything go missing in the last couple years. had a 35mm film trailcam go missing 3 years ago, but they practically did me a favor.

I'm not sure if we've been lucky or not. No one seems to steal our equipment... only our deer!

Careful DT, you might get sued for purposely hurting the poor guy that climbs up to take a look around[:@]

I'd put a few cameras up in the trees with IR and make sure that they can't get to them or are in trees they wouldn't be looking in, then you have them tresspassing and can call DNR. Or figure out when they show up so you can get a crew set up to ambush them!

If all goes as planned- I'll catch this guy because he will be laying on the ground under the stand...

He will most definitly have to step onto the shooters stand to pull the camera stand, first...Lets just say, the strap around the shooter stand MIGHT be compromised...

Would you feel justified if the guy fell, broke his neck, and became confined to a wheelchair for the remainder of his years...or possibly worse?

Your United States Marine Corps training will keep you out of jail, won't it?

Keep you from being sued?

Keep the tresspassers from hurting themselves badly or worse?

Seriously?

If you really think its funny that the guy could get hurt, I don't even know what to say. Yeah, I can understand being pissed off because your stuff is getting stolen when you have every right to be there, but come on...
