Default Shoot-Through Mesh..?

How many of you have used blinds with shoot through mesh? I just got 2 Ameristep Doghouse blinds and I really like them, they go up in 3 seconds, but.. I don't know if I trust the shoot through mesh. I'm thinking about just folding it down in the field. I'm hoping someone on here can ease my worry with some first handtesimonial about the positives/negatives ... Thanks

I have shot through my double bull several times. I would strongly suggest practicing out of yours with your set up before attempting it on an animal. I practiced through mine several times before ever going in the woods with it. I have taken 3 animals out of minethrough the mesh....

Wouldn't that be same as shooting through a Wisker Biscuit?

I posted a thread probably a year and a half to two years ago with a video of me shooting through the mesh of a blind. It does not affect your accuracy.

Ditto. The shooter usually affects accuracy because they are not used to aiming through the mesh, shooting from the blind, or in a sitting position straight out. Practice from the blind before you go out and pick a window or spot to shoot through you don't think you'll use.

I will shoot fixed blades through the mesh. I'm skeptical about mechanicals though because I shota 2 blade rage through it and one side opened up leaving a slice.
