Default Evening Visitors...

Yeah, they're no Rob bucks, but this evening my wife commented how nice it was to see a doe out in the backyard this morning. When we looked out the window, here is what we saw. One of them still has it's spots. They stuck around eating acorns off the ground for about 20 minutes.

Neat! Is that a river or lake in the background? Beautiful place!

Af, I too love to look at them out the window,I don't even hunt at my house but I have only seen 2 bucks on my property that weren't shooters, the wife and I will sit out in the mornings drinking coffee and watching the deer. Then the kids get up and come out and it don't take long the deer ease off in the woods. Cool view AF...Thanks for sharing!

No, that's no river in the background, it's my 7 acre pond. The pond is 400 feet wide at the dam and 1450 ft long. We don't live on a golf course, I spent 15 hours just mowing the front and backyard last week. Our driveway is a half mile from the road to the house and then another half mile back to where my food plots are. When the leaves are on the trees, you cannot see another house in any direction. In the winter, you can see the yard lights of 4 neighbors through the trees. Life in the country, you gotta love it!
