Hello, I just bought a new PSE Nova S7. It is a nice bow and is super accurate for me. It is set at 50 IBS right now and I draw it with ease although I notice it is a little more difficult to draw when sitting in a chair (I will ground blind hunt this year). I don't know what my draw length is but I am 5'10.5" tall. What will I gain by increasing the draw weight to 60 IBS? Should I do it? Thanks
RE: Should I increase my draw poundage from 50 to 60?
Changing you draw weight may also change the spine of arrow you need. I"™d say for this season, let well enough alone. Your setup will work great, no need to fool with it now. Next year bump it up and see how you like it and see if your arrows still work.

I would look at this way? Your accurate with it right? And if you stay within you shooting range abiltiy? NO problem! 50lbs is plenty. (imo) Go hunting)

Given your set up, if you wanted to say- bump up to 53 lbs., I don't think this will affect your arrow spine but it will keep you a bit flatter outbeyond 30-35 yards.
Doing this, will requiring re-sighting in, but this you probably already knew.

10Lbs is a big gain in one go , i'd goto about 54lbs and get used to that . If your comfortable , try another turn .. you just gotta find that comfort zone , i went from 52lbs -56lbs-60lbs and now i draw 65lbs no problem ( that was over 9 months ) .Try a little at a time , but you may need to reset your pins .

I shoot 56 pounds and it's perfect for me. If you're comfortable drawing back 60 pounds without pointing the bow to the sky then I see no problem with it.
