Default Anyone grip their bow between thier middle and ring finger?

I was at a 3-d shoot over the weekend and saw someone shooting this way (compound bow was held between middle and ring finger). Apparently it cuts down on torque (for him anyway). I never saw anyone do this. Just wondering if anyone elseshoots that way. Thought it was a little strange.

I am not that strang, but I shot with my thumb and index finger. My other fingers are basically like a fist.

Sort of defeats the bone on bone support idea for proper form. Sound like a good way to mess up your wrist to me. I can almost assure you it does not cut down on torque.

Just tried it in my basement! Possibly the most painfully stupid thing that I have ever done. It puts a major strain on the wrist. They most likely got this technique from the pro shop I "used" to go to. . .
